In a recent article in the “Daily Intelligence” journalist Jada Yuan described her experience at Lauryn Hill’s recent exclusive concert at the W Hotel in New York.
She was expecting crazy Lauryn but was actually quite impressed by what she saw!
“she ripped through fourteen songs, improvising throughout, speeding them up and slowing them down, throwing in raps, and somehow turning her voice into what sounded like a skipping record. Every song sounded entirely new, including her cover of Bob Marley’s “Hammer” and her encore, the Supremes’ “Heatwave,” which she flowed effortlessly into “Doo Wop (That Thing).”
Even though it was an incredibly exclusive concert and only 120 fans out of what began as 300 actually stuck around to wait for her performance it sounds like Lauryn Hill could still have a career in music if she really wanted it bad enough.

It’s been awhile since Lauryn Hill and Nas first collaborated on what turned out to be the most popular song of the year back in ‘96 with “If I Ruled The World”.
But word has it the pair have teamed up to create a new single by the name “It Wasn’t You” as far as we know the single is already completed and may have already leaked out on to the internet (thats a real suprise) however what is suprising is that the song hasn’t been announced as a single on Nas’s new album that should be coming out in a few months.

It appears that Lauryn is working on a possible reunion album with her old group the “Fugees”. While we haven’t heard it yet we are hearing rumours that a song called “Take it Easy” has leaked out and if thats true then it would be the first song from the Fugees since they broke up 9 years ago (wow has it really been that long ?).

Ok this news story may sound odd but it’s been picked up by legitamate news channels so it’s probably true! Apparently Lauryn Hill has been publically outed over having not payed her local sewage bills…
It could be a complete accident seeing as how the signer travels often between her home and Jamaica with her husband, but her rep refused to comment saying “I will not ask her about her private finances.”
